Village of Braebander

In the village of Braebander, on the east shore of the Volga River, is an interesting flour mill built by Germans in the late 1800's.  The equipment in the mill was converted to electricity in the mid-1960's and produces 150 fifty-kilogram sacks of flour per day.  We were allowed to investigate all four floors of the mill.  As you can see  in some of the pictures, the machines were dusted with flour and flour was escaping through the windows.
