Village of Kicin
This is the village where David's paternal grandmother, Henrietta Penner, was born in 1857. She immigrated with her family to the United States and eventually settled in Moundridge, Kansas. It was there she was married to David Karber in 1877. They moved to Fairview, Oklahoma where they established their home and raised their children. She and her husband are both buried in the South MB Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma.
